Singing in the Choir

Last night I performed in the APPA choir at the Town Hall. It was my second time in the choir. It is really hard to pick which song was my favourite because I liked them all! Thank you Mrs Key for helping me learn my songs and training the choir.

This is my recycling poster. WE went to visit Visy Recycling centre and we learnt that there is 2.5 million tonnes of rubbish in New Zealand that could be recycled!

Maths fairy tale

Once upon a time there was bean that grew in the forest for one day. It grew 5cm everyday it would grow bigger and bigger.

How many days did the bean grow for 50cm ?

So how I worked it out was 50 divided by five  = ten days.

This is my story about fairy tales.

Once upon a time lived a queen and king who had a newborn baby that they loved.

They had a feast and the thirteen fairies came and the fairies gave the baby three wishes and the wishes were helpful ,kindness  and beauty. Then the thirteenth  fairy came and she never got  invited so she put a curse . When she is fifteen she will prick her finger on the spinning wheel and die.

Then she went and the twelfth  fairy did not have her wish but she could not  stop the curse so she waved her wand and said the baby will sleep for a hundred years and the only way to break the curse was true love . Then the king and queen cried.

When she was fifteen she found this big scary tower and found a door so she knocked on the door but the door didn't open so she pushed

the door opened and she saw a old lady spinning the spinning

wheel . Then the lady said  you have a try so she went to spin the    wheel  but the moment she touched it she fell down and slept for

one hundred years later long time ago there was a prince who

heard about the story .

  The prince found a big huge castle

he tried to break through the thons but he was not strong enough

to go through but then he found a way to get through the other

side so the prince went across the thons and found the tower

then the prince found sleeping Beauty and gave her a kiss

and sleeping Beauty work up  even the queen and king

then the prince and sleeping beauty fell in love .

and they lived happily ever after.
